Southwest Montana Sport Climbing

Bozeman is located in southwestern Montana and sits at an elevation of about 4,800 feet. Surrounded by several mountain ranges, the types of climbing varies from vertical to slightly overhanging limestone to slab routes on various types of metamorphic rock.  All climbing will occur within a two hour’s radius of Bozeman, depending on weather conditions. This camp has a wide emphasis on technique, rope work, gear usage, and safety.  It is a great opportunity for a climber to transition from climbing plastic indoors to rock outside.

The Southwest Montana youth sport climbing trip will camp at developed Forest Service campgrounds, with picnic tables, vault toilets,and clean water. 

Prepare for the trip

Upon registration, you will receive a packing list of all the items you’ll need to be comfortable during our trip.  TTS will be providing the group gear, but you’ll need to provide personal items (i.e. sleeping bag and pad, bowl and utensils, toiletries, etc).



    Registration is very limited.


    Initial $150 deposit is not refundable for any reason. If you cancel more than 60 days in advance of the trip start date, you will receive all money paid minus the $150 deposit. If you cancel less than 30 days in advance, you will receive a 50% refund of all money paid. No refunds within two weeks prior to the first day of camp.



      This five-day, four-night camp costs $750.
